สำหรับน้องๆที่กังวลกับกฏระเบียบของกระทรวงล่าสุดที่ปรับเปลี่ยนเกณท์การรับนักเรียนภาคอินเตอร์ โดยให้ทางมหาลัยต่างๆเป็นผู้กำหนดเงื่อนไขการรับสมัครให้สอดคล้องกับการรับนักเรียนภาคปรกตินั้น ประเด็นที่น้องๆทุกคนกังวลว่าทางมหาลัยจะยอมรับวุฒิจากนิวซีแลนด์เพื่อเทียบกับชั้น มัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ด้วยผล NCEA2 หรือ NCEA3 นั้น
ล่าสุดการประชุมของคณะกรรมการของมหาวิทยาลัยต่างๆใด้มีมติ ยอมรับผลการเรียนเพื่อเทียบวุฒิการศึกษาของชชั้น ม.6 เทียบเท่ากับ NCEA2 (Year12) โดยเงื่อนไขต่างๆนั้นให้สอบถามผู้แนะนำทางการศึกษา เอเย่นการศึกษา

NCEA Level 2 – Matthayom 6 equivalence criteria
There are two options to meet the NCEA Level 2 – Matthayom 6 equivalency…
Option 1: NCEA Level 2 Certificate (at least 80 credits, of which 60 must be Level 2 or higher). Literacy and numeracy requirements are the same as those for NCEA Level 1. See Literacy and Numeracy requirements.
Option 2: 60 credits at Level 2 or higher in a minimum of five subjects. These credits are to include a minimum requirement of 4 credits in English (literacy) at Level 2 or higher and 4 credits in Mathematics (numeracy) at Level 2 or higher.
Note about Option 2:
- This option does not require a student to achieve NCEA Level 2.
- To achieve this option, Thai students must have studied at least 5 subjects.
- Students are advised to achieve a minimum of 12 Level 2 credits per subject across five subjects.
English Language (EL) – English for Speakers of Other Languages

For Option 1
- English Language (EL) is not accepted for literacy, except English for Academic Purposes 22750 and 22751.
- English Language (EL) credits are accepted as part of the 80 credits required to gain NCEA Level 2. They can be from either NCEA Level 1 or 2 or a combination of both.
For Option 2
- English Language (EL) is not accepted as a subject and does not count towards the English (literacy) credit requirement. The English (literacy) credits must be in English.

To achieve either Option 1 or Option 2 for NCEA Level 2 – Matthayom 6 equivalence, a student must meet the literacy and numeracy requirements.
Option 1: Students will know they have met the literacy and numeracy requirements for Option 1 if they are awarded an NCEA Level 2 Certificate.
Option 2: Students will know they have met the literacy and numeracy requirements for Option 2 if they have a minimum of 4 credits in English (literacy) at Level 2 or higher and 4 credits in Mathematics (numeracy) at Level 2 or higher. For this option, the English (literacy) credits must be in English, not English Language (EL).
